Great place for a quick family stay! Clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a one-night stop in the Pittsburgh area. Easy check-in and a convenient location. Would recommend to anyone needing a great place to stay and would happily stay again.

We can’t say enough about what a fantastic week we had as a result of the well appointed, comfortable, and clean modern apartment we stayed in. In addition, the parking situation was super convenient and made driving back and firth to visit family hassle-free. As NYC based folks we love walking to the gym, restaurants, shopping, etc. and therefore for us, this Shadyside location was perfect. We stayed in apt 101 which is the second floor from the back of the building and the main floor from the front of the building and it worked out very well. The layout was excellent and although it was cold in Pittsburgh during our stay, we still loved having TWO outdoor spaces. Even our 22 year old daughter and our 7 year old mini-golden doodle were happy! Jakes responsiveness and approach are phenomenal. We would be thrilled to rent from him again.

Absolutely loved my stay at Jake's pad! 🌟 Tucked into a walkable pocket of Pittsburgh, this home put me steps from cozy coffee shops and great restaurants—perfect for morning lattes and evening bites. Inside, everything was spotless, airy, and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like my own place from the moment I walked in. The spacious layout meant I could spread out and truly unwind after a day exploring the city. Couldn’t have asked for a cleaner or more comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to the Steel City!

Second time staying at the property, everything works as it should!

It is always a wonderful and comfortable stay when we Book with Jake. We had more family members with us this time so we got the king suite. plenty of room for everyone. the place was immaculate, clean, modern and so bright. great area with access to everything within a walking distance. What makes this place 100 times better is how quickly and effectively Jake responds when you need anything or have any question. We loved the property and we will be back.

My family enjoyed our stay here. Perfect spot in a great neighborhood. Also comes with one dedicated parking space, which was necessary for us. Some of the fixtures in the home could use some attention (door handles, closet doors), but aside from that, it was a great place to stay and I would recommend again.

This was a great and spacious place close to Carnegie Mellon. It was particularly cool that one could walk to a great coffee shop to pick up one's morning coffee. Jake was a great host, and we'll look to stay at his place again when we're back in Pittsburgh.

Can’t beat the location if you want to be close to restaurants and essential stores. Would like local TV channels, but managed to work around it. Great parking. Would definitely stay again if wanting in city location.

Jake was amazing place was ready for us. the showers are immaculate, the beds are comfortable, TVs are huge, the kitchen was prestine only thing i would say is add a baking sheet but other than that was truly worth what we paid will be using again

Exceptionally clean, well appointed and located in a prime location in Shadyside, Jake’s condo exceeded my expectations. Hotel level style and comfort complete with functional living, dining and outdoor spaces. Just one block from upscale dining, coffee shops and retail. Enjoyed easy access to conveniences like Target and Trader Joe’s while visiting my daughter at University of Pittsburgh, which is an easy 10 minute drive. Communication was thorough and timely with Jake and his team. Highly recommend and will definitely consider renting from Jake again.

This was a great place, we stayed with our two toddlers, baby, and golden retriever and it was just what we needed. We were able to walk to a coffee shop in the morning and drove to a nearby park. A pack n play was already there. We were only just passing through for one night on a road trip but it made us want to come back sometime to explore Pittsburgh some more. Thanks!

Lovely apartment, great location.

This is a very freshly remodeled space within minutes walking distance of great restaurants, shops, coffee and more. You're close to the mansions and tree-lined residential streets of Shadyside but also close to the hub of Oakland. I felt very safe coming and going at any time of day. Other reviews note this too, but I can't overstate how responsive and friendly Jake was with any needs we had (and the cleaning staff really came through for us when our dog escaped). The walls are a little thin, and you can hear noise from the other apartments in the building, but other guests were mostly respectful and it was nothing too disruptive. My mother in law with mobility issues was able to easily enter and exit the apartment from the street, and the large parking space out back was a treat we didn't see elsewhere. We loved staying here and would highly recommend!

Jake was a great host—very friendly and responsive! The listing provided helpful and accurate information, and overall we had a nice stay. There were a few small cleanliness details that could be improved. Parking was also a little tricky for our guests during the day, as street spots were limited, though one private spot in the back was included. Despite those minor issues, the space was comfortable and well-located!

If this place was in an hotel, you would expect to pay thousands per night for such accommodations. Everything in this apartment is fabulous. Every furnishing was beautiful. It was welcome respite after a long afternoon on the road. It was perfectly situated in a sweet neighborhood full of restaurants. We were able to accommodate the whole family easily. Only go to Jake’s if you want to ruin Air Bnb’s for yourself forever 😄 highly recommend!

We have stayed in another of Jake’s properties before and the experience is always perfect! This apartment was gorgeous and the location was ideal . We travel to Pittsburgh quite often and will now seek out one of Jake’s properties to rent.

It was very clean and centrally located with restaurants in walking distance. There’s a long hallway along which the bedrooms are located, so if you have someone who has trouble walking that might be a consideration, but overall it was a great place. Highly recommend.

Jake's apartment was exactly like the pictures. It was spotless and gorgeous! The space was perfect and I even felt comfortable walking around with no socks! We could only stay overnight and weren't there very long. We wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this apartment and I'm sure any of Jake's places will be the perfect choice! Jake was super responsible and helpful. The ease of check-in and check-out was an added bonus!

This Airbnb is in a fantastic location in Shadyside; walkable to restaurants, groceries and shops. This particular unit is v accessible. My son had knee surgery at UPMC, we traveled to Pittsburgh for it and needed a first floor apt and this one worked out perfectly. The bedrooms have been designed for the utmost comfort - the beds are so comfy that it’s difficult to get up in the am. The living area is on the smaller side; however it is laid out well and has a great patio that it extends to. I was an early guest at this brand new property. As a result I found some issues. Jake is one of the most responsive hosts I’ve experienced, and he handled the issues with a sense of urgency. He and his team are committed to timely responses and action. Highly recommend!
